- BIOGRAPHY
Konstantinos was the son of Emperor Romanos IV Diogenes and his first wife Anna/Alusijana of Bulgaria. About 1072 he married Theodora Komnena, daughter of Ioannes Komnenos, patrikios, and Anna Dalassene, regent of the Eastern Roman Empire and mother of Emperor Alexios I Komnenos. His marriage was arranged by Anna Dalassene shortly after the death of Konstantinos' father Romanos IV, but it was short-lived, as Konstantinos was killed under the walls of Antioch in 1074 while serving with his brother-in-law Isaac Komnenos.
Konstantinos left a daughter Anna Diogenissa who would have progeny, marrying Uros, count of Serbia.
