- BIOGRAPHY
Fernán Gómez de Toldeo was born in 1282, the son of Gomez Perez de Toledo y Polemeque and Arabuena Armildez. He was one of the most influential (and prolific) members of the city government of Toledo, serving as chief notary of the kingdom of Toledo. His paternity has been proven by inscriptions on his tomb in his palace, which is now the Franciscan convent of Santa Isabel in Toledo. With his wife Teresa Vazquez de Acuna he had at least two sons who would have progeny. It is not recorded when Fernán died.
